This week, in cooperation with Hapag-Lloyd AG, we organized a training course on cargo lashing and securing. The workshop-led by experts from Cordstrap-included both a theoretical and practical part, which took place at our yard. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the handling of oversize cargo (OOG) directly at the terminal, as well as test various techniques for securing and securing goods. The training was attended by representatives of all links in the logistics chain – terminal employees, representatives of the shipping line and numerous shippers. The program included, among other things, a presentation of lashing materials, a discussion of securing techniques and methods for calculating the strength of the components used.
