Company

Since 2005, Hutchison Ports has carried out a number of investment programes at the Port of Gdynia which transformed the former shipyard company into a modern container handling facility. These developments are part of an ongoing process to continuously enhance the capabilities of Hutchison Ports Gdynia (GCT) and its transition toward becoming the region’s port of choice not only for feeder and short-sea trades but also for direct calls with ULCVs. Investment to date has exceeded EUR 100 million.

Looking ahead into the future, GCT strives to achieve the following goals:

  • To further develop the terminal to increase capacity in line with market growth and needs.
  • To consistently enhance service quality and productivity.
  • To continuously invest in staff development.
  • To always conduct business in a responsible manner to safeguard the natural environment.

We are confident that, through the pursuit of these goals, GCT is emerging as a premier port of call for those seeking to move containerized goods in a timely and cost-effective manner.
