2025 was a record-breaking year for Gdynia Container Terminal (GCT). The terminal achieved the highest throughput result in its history, handling 465,000 TEU. Throughout the year, 258,936 containers were handled across 569 vessel calls, confirming GCT’s growing role in container transport operations
Another significant milestone was surpassing 6 million TEU handled since the beginning of the terminal’s operations. The milestone container was unloaded from the Maersk Gironde, which regularly calls at GCT as part of a service operated by Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk under the Gemini alliance.
This achievement is the result of our team’s commitment, ongoing investments in the development of our terminal, and the trust of our customers.
